You didn't say what focal length you used but that looks great for a relatively slow exposure.

Nice capture! The focus is right on the face as it should be. Nature most often dictates the parameters of our pictures. My only wish was that there could be a little more differentiating contrast in color or pattern between the insect and the background but I realize you had no control over that. Looking forward to seeing more of your bug photography!
