Instar by kanajComment by Refocused: A beautiful artistic rendition of this caterpillar. The soft light really works well and your border compliments the image. It would be the cover of the 2026 Caterpillar World Calendar! |

Instar by kanajComment by lovemelvin: Congratulations, Samsung Photo Global Ambassador 😅 I love the soft tones, that beautiful shade of green, and the dew drops. It almost looks like a hyperrealistic painting. Well done! |

Before the Dayby kanajComment by kanaj: That's an incredibly generous and kind comment you left, Melvin. Coming from you, it means a lot, because you have demonstrated a propensity to think and create with evocative storytelling and atmospheric drama yourself. So I feel like I know EXACTLY what you mean. And actually, your instincts about the progeny of this particular shot are spot-on! It is literally a serendipitous out-the-car-window phone shot I barely had time to compose properly because I didn't want to ruin the atmosphere by alerting this jogger to my presence slowing down enough to capture it. I had one or two exposures and had to immediately resume my speed. I only got away with it at all because this is the (mostly quiet) street we live on. But this guy frequently jogs early in the mornings, and I know quite well myself the mental health break a quiet morning jog like this can be. |

Before the Dayby kanajComment by lovemelvin: Faved. English is my main language, but not my main-main-main, so I’ll try my best: This POV feels the most serene and natural. There is no feeling of force or staging in my subconscious when looking at this image. It feels like a natural, rare moment came to you on its own and gave you a feeling of the sublime, serenity, and inner peace rolled into one, and you just happened to be there to capture it. It may not be technically flawless because that’s how it should be, and it can be unfair, but it is NATURALLY excellent because foggy, magical mornings are supposed to look and feel like this, like when you are serene and feeling like a baby and simply enjoying a natural moment. Ohh i just remembered the word: transcendental. And, if I may coin a term, serendipitously-magical-kanaj image. Congratulations! 🫶🏻 |

bluntedby kanajComment by Refocused: Definitely ribbon worthy as far as I am concerned. I really like the dramatic editing. It is more than just a photograph. It shows excellence and creative expression. |
