On the deck, bubbles in one hand, a lollipop in the other, what could be better?by sjhulsComment by aliqui: I love the exposure on the mountains and bubbles, but I have to be honest; the dodging on the girl is really distracting. It seems so random. This application suggests that the light hits hard and then instantly dies off. Maybe a softer brush would help feather the effect in the future? Another thing that bothers me is the dark lollipop. That should most certainly be included in the brightening process.
This image has such potential to be so great, but lighting her definitely seems as though it were an afterthought. Had a reflector or flash been used you'd have a damn solid image. |
