Wiltingby KelliComment by sfalice: The double flowers work well in this one.
Great detail where it counts and super composition.

Bee & Petalsby KelliComment by sfalice: Fun to see all the petals converging on that (temporary) center of attraction, the pollinating bee. |

Wiltingby KelliComment by sherpet: The detail in the top flower is really strong, and I feel the background, along with the DOF, completes this image.....
Thanks you for sharing this floral image with us.

Bee & Petalsby KelliComment by JerseyGenie: Funny how I like to try to capture the bees at work too...my obsession tends to be a bit dangerous though--I'm allergic to their sting, so that means I'm quite careful.
Yeah ... it's the daredevil in me to keep trying to capture them.
Very well done. Keep up the good work. |

Bee & Petalsby KelliComment by aliqui: Why must critters that look so cute and fluffy be so mean?? I want to snuggle with that little guy, but I bet he wouldn't like that.
Your focus is a bit off, and it would be nice if he was more illuminated by the sun or a flash. I can completely understand why you didn't want to position the flower to get more light on him though, heh. |
