If your happy and you know it....by KelliComment by EL-ROI: My daughter throws one of these on the ground about 10 times a day... YOu'd think the string attachments would work, but nope... They get yanked right off too! My wife has a bit of a soothie buying problem as well. She needs at least five on the night stand, five in the diaper bag and a few in each car so she is never without one. I think we even have two in the kitchen...Ok. But enough about me.
I think it is the material the soothie is made of rather than your focusing, but it just looks a little out of focus. I think a black background might have helped that and given it a little pop from the page. |

Menopauseby KelliComment by scooter97: Nice one Kelli! I heard the same story and I too felt a bit sad for the lioness. I guess in the wild she would never have lived 18 years. |

Menopauseby KelliComment by aliqui: Wow, I'd never really thought about animals going through menopause, but I suppose it makes sense. She's still beautiful, saggy boobs and all! |

Marriageby KelliComment by dahlin: One of the best ideas represented in the challenge. The execution is not as appealing IMO. But a 7 for the idea. |

...crawling out from under the heel of loveby KelliComment by Citadel: The shot tells a story quite well. I think the problem (in my opinion anyways) is the processing. I think that the topaz was a little too heavy. In my opinion (and that's all it is) processing should be subtle. (In fact, I noticed that you took out the topaz detail except for the guy and that's where I notice it the most. The rest of the scene looks to have the "right" level of processing.
That aside, I think that if you just showed his head and the foot it might have been more effective.
But all nit-picking aside, I enjoy this image and it certainly made me laugh. :) |
