This is an interesting abstract. It almost looks like micro organisms under a microscope. The lighting on the weed(s) is good, giving it a nice halo effect. The light also gives it a good soft look/feel too. I'm tempted to say it needs a little more contrast, but I think you'd lose the layering if you did that. The overall image seems a little overexposed, but it's good for an abstract.

Great lighting and composition, but the DOF is a bit too narrow. I find it a bit taxing focally.

Had you expanded the DOF then the pattern from the fronds would have been more eye-catching and exploitative of the beautiful sunlight.

Pretty simple idea, but it looks very nice. I like the use of artifial snow. There seems to be a hint of yellow in the white of the candy canes in the top left. See how much whiter the ones in the bottom right are? Must be something with the lighting. I gave this an 8, though.

I love the way the little candy canes make little hearts and I can not only smell them but can almost taste them as well. The snow is a very nice touch, wish I had some to play with! A 10

This could only mean that someone fell asleep or slipped a lifesaver. I'd be surprised for sure if I found this in the M & M's. Nice shot. Sharp and good use of light.

Effective one, I like this very much. The composition and colours work well together. Maybe the m&ms candies are a little bit out of focus for my personal taste, or lighting is a bit harsch on them. Which one did you choose at last? :-)
