Move!by NeatComment by posthumous: such marvelous shapes they make! They look scratched onto the screen.
I'm wondering if a squarer, less vignetted edit would be better. |

Move!by NeatComment by streetpigeon: Terrific bird picture, one of the best I've seen, and would have walked away from the current bird challenge with a ribbon. And tops, in my book, in this high contrast challenge. Sterling stark blacks and whites, then plays with the in-betweens to great effect. Crisp action and rich reflections. I'm not sure about the upper heavy vignette, but it does set off the main show nicely.
Personal favorite. |

Far above us by NeatComment by Janja: This is surrealistic. The longer I look at this picture, the more I like it. The way it is symmetric and non-symmetric at the same time, both horizontally and vertically. The way the space is divided in 4 horizontal areas (building/sky/glass/reflection). The way horizontal becomes vertical and vice versa. The world upside down. And the bird doesn't care about this all... he just flies from A to B. Because that is what birds do. |

It's all about the editing styleby NeatComment by posthumous: not all. I will admit the editing style helps to focus things, but you still need a subject. You need NO NO mirrored by two girls in opposite directions and opposite clothes mirrored by a pier with its sister the sea.
I'm hanging you in my fantasy gallery.
