I am sorry, I do not particularly like this photo. I attribute my dislike to the sky, the water, the shadows, the time of day, and the overall composition. These are probably all personal biases, but I am only giving this a 4 even though the rock is very interesting and the focus and contrast on the lit parts of the rock are very good.

Is there a ribbon for observational humour? well, there should be, for i found this to be tickingly jolly. the touch of genius is found where the point of the "pencil" touches the power cable lines above. my only reservation is that it's not exactly a beautiful or particularly photogenic subject, and the greys are a bit dull against the dark blue sky (a tweak with brightness / contrast or curves might have added a bit more sparkle). all told, good fun! 7.
