595 - Copy - dpc - nov morningby Luci11eComment by aliqui: I agree that the colors are nice, but it's got some movement. It's not enough movement for me to think it were intentional or for it to add to the meaning of the photo though.
I think that if you want this tree to hold its own as the subject the photo as a whole will need to be simplified. The left side of the image for example has several tops of trees that are budging their way in and interrupting your horizon. I would clone those out so that you have a nice solid (uninterrupted) horizon. |

Hoboby Luci11eComment by timmi: Beautiful portrait and nice composition. You are missing the second complementary colour (her skin is not orange enough :)), but still nicely done. |

DSC_0222 - No Place to Run Toby Luci11eComment by scooter97: This would definitely benefit from 2 separate exposures. Our eyes are so much more sensitive to light than a camera's sensor. That's why it's difficult to get the camera to capture an image like we see it. |

DSC_0222 - No Place to Run Toby Luci11eComment by sjhuls: I agree this is a great photo, but it could be exceptional with the help of some HDR techniques. You can make multiple exposures of the same photo using RAW. I think one with the sky in the correct exposure and one with the foreground in the correct exposure, then merged together using layers would really look great on this photo. |
