This must have been very hard to catch. I had a Great Blue Heron (which I think this is) in my yard a couple of weeks ago, he was so fast no catching a shot and to get one like this! Wow

DP Me and My Fishby MeMex2Comment by willem: Great catch. Pin sharp on the eye and good composition. Not sure whether the wingtips show movement blur or were accidentally blurred in post-processing. Some tips on the right wing seem blurred, others are not. Still a slight sense of movement maintained, which I like. |
