A bit more contrast would have helped to show off those lovely sun rays. And while it doesn't really bother me, I have been hit often enough with the " I hate you image because the horizon is not level" comment to know that rotating the horizon to 90 degrees , even if it means the tree will not be at 90, will help your score.

As someone who does alot of HDR, I must say I think this could be much more effective without that here. There is much so potential to explore with the moodiness of the person on the bench, but the cartoonie effect seems so out of place. Perhaps if you crop off the top and right hand section and convert to B&W, but that is just my opinion.
