Looking at the picture you could easily have sneaked around the back of those big trees, scampered up them on to that big flat branch above their head . . shimmied along it, then dropped granola bars down to them and taken action shots as they reached up towards you . . sheesh youngsters nowadays . .

scarey .. we dont have any really dangerous animals out in the bush in australia ..
but i saw a program on foxtel called 'i survived' or something similar .. anyway a couple were hiking in a fairly wilderness area and the guy got attacked by a big cat .. not sure what sort .. the wife kept hitting the cat with a large log, the man who was pinned under the cat was sticking his fingers in its nose and pulling its tongue .. the wife then got a pen and stabbed the cat in the eye .. it didnt even seem to notice .. finally after the man had been almost scalped and the cat seemed like he was going to eat his face off, the wife hit the animal over its head as hard as she could with the log .. the cat then turned on her .. she still had the log and yelled or screamed as loud as she could and the cat turned and went away .. the man had been nearly scalped, his face nearly torn off but he survived .. the woman got some awad for bravery . they celebrated their 40 or 50th wedding anniversary around the time of the program ..
anyway .. i dont think i'd be walking in the woods .. altho i spose you'd have to be very unlucky .. like dying in an air crash ..
wotever .. but still i wouldnt be getting any closer and i'd have my car handy just in case they took an interest .. do bears eat meat ?!!
