The Feast by jagarComment by vawendy: ok -- this smacks of Jagar. Sorry if it's not (but hopefully you're not insulted, because it's a huge compliment, imo. :) I love the the door on the left is appearing from the darkness. I love the lighting, I love exploring this. |

The Feast by jagarComment by grahamgator: I think I have seen these bw tones before and they are still magnificent. Great simplistic image. |

The Messenger by jagarComment by CNovack: Congrats on the ribbon John. I have been coming back to look at this from time to time. There is just something both mysterious and otherworldly captivating about this that it draws me back to look. I keep seeing this and I seem to be the only one - there is this 'shadow' stain outline of a horse/wolf leaping from the shadowy man. The head is the darker stain on the wall where the leg is lighter and bent in a leap. The hoof/paw comes down on that white box. Perhaps the messenger has a ride to get to places more quickly. Or may hap that 'shadow' on the wall is a manifestation of his animal form...which in that case it makes me think 'Dark horse' or 'Bad Wolf'. |

The Feast by jagarComment by CNovack: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
B&W tones are fabulous! The man standing there looks to be waiting for more 'guests' to arrive. With only 4 pigeons 'at the table' there is room for more to join in on the feast:-) It makes me wonder where is he keeping the food for the birds - mayhap in his pant pocket? Nice capture of a slice of life. |

The Feast by jagarComment by PennyStreet: Fabulous street shot... perfect light, and I love the story...he does seem kind of oblivious, doesn't he?... maybe it's the dark glasses. |
