I have no idea what really happened here from viewing your photograph, but it strikes me as sad and poignant. I love the shadow looking at the loss and how it is superimposed on the reflection, silent, waiting, perhaps remembering? The tones in this are equally muted and dark all around adding much to the sense of emptiness. Very well done indeed.

Yes. It is. Extraordinary. 8 for the sheer weirdness - I would love to see just a tiny bit more detail in the shadow areas (OK, actually, I'm not entirely sure I am being truthful there...)

The B&W tones are well done. I can really see the lovely details of the texture of the petals of this flower. While the B&W is a strong composition I wonder what it looks like in color.
