A sad reminder of how it all ends, and photographed in such a way we see it twice, from above and again in the eerie shadows. Even the fascinating background doesn't stop me from looking back and forth between the two views. Top pick.

A photograph like this one deserves to be accompanied by music -perhaps one of those Beethoven late string quartets where one feels that the music came from a world unknown to us that is deep inside us.
Ant yet, this image has a sweetness that is not being able to be imparted otherwise than by staring at it.
