Bugs, Dogs And The Toyotaby grahamgatorComment by jgirl57: I can see this being a favorite of Ubique. The vignetting and just the touch of blur and the different tones and details make it a wonderful image and I am hoping he likes it as as much as I have enjoyed looking at this image.. I was wondering if the dog was dead in the mirror for a moment, then I had to look closer. How someone could not be pleased with this image for this challenge will be beyond me and with the little smaller details it holds the interest just a bit longer. I think it was done in great taste and I am hoping Ubique likes it as well. The tones are nicely matched too and I can still make things out to what they are supposed to be.
I really like the composition as well. Well done!

Bugs, Dogs And The Toyotaby grahamgatorComment by streetpigeon: One of those glass snow globes that encapsulate a parallel universe, but with bugs instead of snow, a relaxing (I hope) dog instead of Santa Claus, and a scene so much more interesting than the usual. The rest of the image is effectively bokeh, admirably muted. I find this to be artistry, alchemy, a tour de force. Bravo. |

Staircase to the Parlorby grahamgatorComment by Zita: Delightful title. I applaud the dual leading lines of the spider web and the fencing. The bokeh perfectly isolates both of those lines. Lovely golden green coloring. Nine. Ten. |

Bugs, Dogs And The Toyotaby grahamgatorComment by jagar: I'm loving all things about this, a mundane scene captured in a mundane object, it all comes together to make the moment very special, then there's the title, great. |

Bugs, Dogs And The Toyotaby grahamgatorComment by ubique: I cannot resist this kind of photograph. I use my own side mirrors as a set every time I go out photographing wildlife (where I go you are most unwise to get out of your vehicle). I love the surreal effect of something in the side mirror; everything looks like Dali was involved. This one is a great example of the whacky world of side mirror shots. I've yet to figure out how to get an elephant to lie down on the road after I pass by, as has your dog. But I'll keep trying after this. I enjoyed it very much and I thank you. |

Bugs, Dogs And The Toyotaby grahamgatorComment by bohemka: Great title. Nice tones, very well spotted. This is what happens when you your eyes are open all the time and you've got the spirit to just see what happens. |
