This image sure jumps out at you when you see it for the first time :) I think you did a good job on this, especially using the shallow DOF to highlight the pearl more. Also the way the shallow depth of field creates those blurry colorful dots in the background introduces a cool effect. The choice of blue as the background was the best choice of colors, I don't think any other color would have worked as well. Well done.

Like the color and idea. Interesting background of which I like out of focus so one sees mainly the drop.

Fun shot! That little star is just the right touch! Super depth of field. Perhaps oversharpened or something? There seems to be some digital noise around your edges. Nice work!

I like the mellow background. The dropper and water drop seem to be extremly oversharpened.

Imaginative and interesting! I love the warm colors, and the dof is great for emphasizing your droplet. Not sure what all is reflected in the drop, but I can certainly see the star and some other visually interesting lines and angles. I might have favored a narrower crop on this - there seems to be SO much space around the drop. Nevertheless, I find it quite visually engaging. 9

Amazing! This was one of my favorites... looks a tad bit oversharpened or something, but still ranked very high for me. Very cool!

Just when I'm thinking that water drop shots are becoming cliche, here is an image that takes it to the next level. The noisy, completely unfocused background forces attention to the mini-image in the water drop. Nicely done.
