Refreshing!by neenee1999Comment by moodville: The colors and lighting look a little dull on my monitor, perhaps a level or curves adjustment could bring them up a little more. I also find the water drops on the glass fairly distracting since they dont really add anything to the composition. |

Candlelightby neenee1999Comment by Artifacts: There are a lot of things to like about this image. It is composed well and you captured a great look in your youthful model's eyes. There are a lot of intersting things in the background to make the viewer interested in the child. You use the rule of thirds well and you have excellent darker tones.
The down side of this image is that it appears to have a yellowish color cast due to lower light levels. I apologize if you created this effect intentionally using the candle but it if were me I would reduce the yellow color cast using various methods in post processing. Some viewers may find the placement of the tiger's head directly behind the model's hair to be a distraction.
If you autolevel it, convert it to greyscale and lower the top white leve about 15 percent you may be surprised at the result. |
