Day 6by bohemkaComment by bassbone: That is my home turf. I grew up in Ottawa and have spent many a day in Starved Rock State Park. I miss getting out there, it is a magical place.
Nicely photographed image - these eagles are wonderful, and so plentiful compared to when I grew up when we never saw any. |

Day 6by bohemkaComment by nam: Like you I think the sense of space and the light on the branches is very nice. We went about 200 miles to see eagles near a dam in central Nebraska and this is about as close as I could get, too. Luckily we made it a two-day trip and combined it with lots of other photo stops so it was worth the drive LOL |
