Nice lighting and I applausd you for leaving this in color even thought the lighting is screaming at you to go with Black and White the elements scream COLOR.

Now *that's* ligting control. Nicely done. Compositionally, it might be more interesting with the ball less centered - maybe closer to one of the nutshells flipped over? Some oversharpening shows in the edges of the shadows and tops of the nutshells.

Nice photo game subject. The completely black shadows are a bit extreeme but you did manage to capture a certain effect by using them.

The lighting effect here is interesting but i think this particular effect and composition of this photo may offer more visual impact if the photo was taken in the horizontal orientation instead of vertical. There is too much empty space in the bottom of the frame to suit my own tastes.
