Thanks! If I remember correctly there were no blooms decent that were low and this was about 6' high so it was at my limit to reach and even get it close!

i'd be putting your comment in the photographer's comments coz that way ppl are more likely to notice .. :):)
but the dof seems to work .. funny, but i'd be going a bit more shallow so the background was less focused .. often makes the subject stand out more .. just a different take .. :) |

In the Darkby jim300Comment by geinafets: Just as your title suggests, this image is a little too dark. It looks like you shot in bright sunlight, so you could have opened the aperture or used a bit longer shutter speed to get some more light. A pass of Unsharp Mask would also help this photo look a bit more bold. |
