Is this a light? Oh, I see, one is burned out but you're saying there's still enough light? I don't understand why it's so grainy. The composition is not very interesting for me either.

i dont really understand what is meant by balance, so i have just been looking at this as a free study, that being said, this works well as an abstract, the noise is a bit excessive for my taste

A shade of blue! Light behind objects -- making shadows that fall on the window dressing -- fits a nontraditional vision of contre-jour in my opinion. Love the intricate texture balanced by the thin horizontal lines, and the contemplative mood.
