stonescapes-1by rooumComment by mitalapo: We learned to appreciate the elevating aesthetics of the author creations. It is further extended here as a sequence with its meditative impact. As I imagine an exhibition with these images in a large format, hanging off of a big gallery walls, I believe it will be hugely successful. Thinking of it, I would like to see it not in a large format, but in a huge format (3-4 meters wide), to enhance the impact further, and to force viewers to appreciate that they enter a new and different domain (I don't know if the white framing will work though, which is a shame, because I find them very elegant and calming in the context presented here). Stonescapes will be a great title for the exhibition, so you are all set... |

stonescapes-4by rooumComment by primabarbara: This one is very different to the one I commented previously. Ths stone texture is much more prominent, the missing sky adds more mystery. I like stonescape 4 very much and wouldn't hesitate to display it on a wall |

This one is like a quaint vintage painting, not far from reality but with a rustic-style texture. |

stonescapes-9by rooumComment by flaherma: A beautiful series Clive! This is definitely my fave. I think it has to do with the gorgeous blue colour and the direction of the stone texture. It feels to me almost like a waterfall, very much like water is tumbling down into the scene, washing over everything in its path. Thanks for posting these :) |
