Do you seriously expect us to believe that this dark and completely shadowed hand, stuck out into the middle of what would have been a beautiful landscape photo, is enough to make this image meet the challenge requirements? If you didn't have this particular challenge, would you ever have dreamed of taking a photograph like this? The image looks like someone just stuck a hand in there, and without the context of this challenge, the existence of that hand is very confusing. Therefore, this image is worthless. We all know that you just stuck your hand in there to meet a challenge and for that reason, I cannot give you any marks for this.

The metal object is overbearing in comparison to the fruit. White balance is on the warm side. Fruit could be better focused, and a levels adjustment would help some also. Just some quick observations, and obviously just one person's opinion. :-) Good luck in the challenge.

Too bland & flat to have impact. You could booost the colors / contrast a tad , may be try include silhouettes from a ground up perspective to make things more interesting as an example. 5
