Too bland & flat to have impact. You could booost the colors / contrast a tad , may be try include silhouettes from a ground up perspective to make things more interesting as an example. 5

Nice skyscape and silhouette of the trees! Would have liked to see more of the trees up front.

Nice colours can clouds... I love a nice cloudscape... this would have benefited from something more than tree tops in the foreground... hard to make a cloudscape rock just with clouds, no matter how great the clouds... not impossible, but not easy.

Now... please bear with me... I'm revisiting a little comment experiment I conducted in the 2009-03 Free Study... something like K10DGuy's comments, but with a twist... the twist being, the story will move from one photo to another within the challenge... also, I don't select just a few photos I start at the first and end on the last as determined by DPC random order assigned to me, with a single sentence for each photo... should be interesting... and you're photo is 3rd in the series

The fires blazed night and day, and they set the sky alight with colour.

Beautiful colors on the horizon. I might have like to see just a little more of the sillhouette, but it's pretty.

This just doesn't pop to me. I think with more foreground it may add some contrast to this. Just my own opinion though.

sky is nice, but there's nothing to really focus on or draw your eye into the picture

A basically good sky shot but too dark and muddled for me subjectively......4

Beautifull sunrise. feel that maybe needs something more in the foreground.

I like the reflection of the sun on the clouds, I personally would like to see a bit more detail in the foreground of the trees as that makes it feel so very dark

You clearly want to show us that sky. The trees are in the way. The horizon may not even be needed. More of the land elements (up to the thirds line maybe) or none of them, I think, would help the image.

Pretty colours but a bit dark, could be brightened up some.

Nice sky, but that's about all you have here, there's no real detail in the ground other than the partial tree over to the left.

I have nothing against silhouettes, but I do feel you have to have something interesting in them.
