This brings to mind this story. Went to a hardware store for a pane of glass 8 by 14. I told the youngster working that department and he went off to cut me some glass. Came back with a pane measuring 9 by 12.

The kid had just graduated High School and didn't know how to read a ruler.

Not very convincing to my eyes. The circular bokeh highlights in the background looks like you shot wide open - in other words - a fast shutter speed was likely used as well. The movement in the foreground plant is very slight, but there's nothing else in the shot that shows a sharp stationary object.
