Sunday Morningby PaulComment by mcaldo: Pleasant, good cropping and natural looking. Maybe trimming to exclude the bed post on the top left corner would help leading the eye to the subject. Trimming more on the right as well, but I am less sure. The detail in the air is a bit jagged (not that I would know how to improve that, details defintion in black hair always gives me nightmares :) Good portrait, quite personal. |

Sunday Morningby PaulComment by gyaban: Very good photo, there is a very nice feel to it: simple, joyful, charmful! Also, it perfectly fits the challenge: the crop and composition are perfect. The depth of field also works great here, and leads even more to the focus point (not that it was needed anyway :-)). Great job! |

Among the fallenby PaulComment by EL-ROI: Good Selective Desat. I would like to see it with the green lawn to compare because I think that the red leaves would pop off of that as well. BUt here, the greytone background gives it the emotion/impact of a B&W image with the pop of color to give it that fall foliage flare!! |

Find your lightby PaulComment by ciaeagle: Nice composition, colors and use of shadows for framing. Facial expression fits the introspective title. :) For some odd reason the front foot stands out and catches my eye. It just looks out of proportion ... |
