Landscapeby AmmieComment: My favorite landscapes are the ones like this one in the Orange Freestate. Those bare rockfaces in the mountains and the muted pastel colors and the Cyprus trees in the landscape always remind me of that great South African painter Pierneef's paintings. Lovely! 8 |

Ice, Water, & Steel by markwileyComment: Stunning image, love the depth and clarity and the way the structure in the foreground leads the eye towards the city. The jagged pieces of broken ice in the foreground add extra visual interest. This has to be the Blue Ribbon winner for this challenge. Pushing my score to the max from an 8 to a 10. |
