As you can see from my comment these men, son and father-in-law are definitely true Austrian men, maybe they just wanted to be comfortable for the day. |
Or they didn't want to carry the Haferlshoes halfway around the world, these are heavy and take up a lot of space in a suitcase.

No self-respecting Austrian man would wear those shoes or even worse - sneakers to their Lederhosen. The right ones would be Haferlschuhe. Probably just some wannabe locals
