I'm sure you could wrap a sci-fi story around these invaders. This shot, which shows them up so clearly, is a good illustration of the lifestyle of mistletoe. We have it here too, where it invades the eucalypts and mimics them in appearance. It eventually weakens and kills the host trees.

My husband's aunt gave a framed and illustrated print of this unattributed rhyme to our youngest son when he was little, and it hung on his wall until car posters replaced it.

It must be my mind, but when I first looked I thought unconventional interspecies cuddling - to put it euphemistically. Great shot and process. I love those dandelion seeds.

Lovely photo. I love the white trunks of birches and I'm not used to seeing a mass of them together like this. Here they are usually grown as specimen trees in gardens.
