Yeah. Focusing will automatically improve a shot :-) Lovely variegated rose, nice colors, could use a shallower dof to emphasize the bloom.

This is textbook on how to shoot an eye (and preferable to "poking" one out...). Color and clarity are stellar, but the surrounding skin area is waaaay too softened for me.

Wait a minute!!! You didn't use a plastic spoon!!!!!!

Just kidding. MUCH better than the original in terms of lighting and composition. I find the crop a bit awkward though. Also, the lighting is a bit harsh and blown out on the cubes, and loses definition on the interior side of the cup lip.

I like the "noir" feel about this. Not all that crazy about blood... Lighting is good, but overexposed on the shirt because it is white.
