Evocative image. Who knew dogs also liked sunsets. This is an image that would have benefited from a generous crop off the top, to make it square. Nothing is happening up there, and it draws our eye away from sharing the marvelous contemplative moment with the poochies...

OMG! It's Jonathan Livingston Cloudgull!!!! Or a little narcissistic cloud, gazing and its considerable beauty reflected in the water. Or a UFO cleverly disguised as a narcissistic little cloud. Or... I especially like that the reflection is even more vivid and beautiful the the real cloud - a phenomenon that seems to apply to people as well...

Really well seen and nicely pp'd. The trunks sticking out of the water provide unusual and effective framing.

Now THIS is a leaf-peeping image I wish I'd seen. The year we went was rated so-so by the locals. Nary a red leaf to be seen. Gorgeous, and perfectly pp'd.

A very dark image, in every sense of the word.

Fabulous use of blur. Your choice of focusing the eye instead of the hand is brilliant. We are being watched. We are ALL being watched.

Man oh man. This is not just a physical place, but an alternate dimension, a dream, an apparition. It is both the arrival and departure room, the room with the answers, the room with the questions. It is hideously stunning, and beautifully decrepit. Where you walk through a door and float out a window, where you stare in, where you live and die.

Clearly, this image inspires me :-) LOVE IT!!!

Just marvelous. Although I'm guessing peas and not chrysalis... I am usually a big fan of negative space, but in this case it seems distracting. A squarer crop seems more appropriate to me, and also a bit more breathing room beneath the sun and to the right of the twig. Obviously not possible if shot this way :-)

So sweet! I think this would be even better in b/w, with a touch more contrast.
