Sunset in Texasby emoonsComment: I really like the clouds on this, and the way the orange/red slowly fade into blue. The whispy cirrus clouds add a great dreamy feel to things. |

Into the Fireby JeffryZComment: I like how minimalist this is. The silhouettes of the birds are great, and the color of the sky, though it appears to be induced by WB or PP, is great in contrast. The churning clouds are really what make this though. The emptiness in the top right helps to draw the viewer from the top right on down through the photo. |

Red sky at night, sailors delightby NobodyComment: The processing on this strikes me as being kinda odd initially, but also very cool. The clouds really like as though they are on fire. This makes me think of the cover of a movie or maybe a comic book or something. |

Windchill -20Fby smichenerComment: I think that having the two trees in such close proximity sorta makes them fight for the viewer's attention, especially because they are both cut off on the edges. They kinda seem like they were an inconvenience to you and not something you wanted in the shot, but had no way around. |

The heavens declare the glory of God!by SchmeldontinoComment: Excellent placing the bush right on the bush. Title is a bit cliche, and I had a feeling I knew what it would before even reading it. The cloud cover is great, and the transition from orange to blue is beautiful. The combination of the clouds and the small sliver of earth makes this scene all the more grand. Great job! |

Nearsetby mgarsteckComment: I like the more minimalist approach, especially with the dead/leafless tree on the left. It frames things nicely. |

Backdrop for a wine farmby CarlvanHeerdenComment: The intensity of the red on this almost makes focusing on it difficult for my eyes. I like the background, but wonder if you might've been better off focusing on the left prominance and changing your perspective so that the canyon and right prominence weren't intruding in the frame. Of course, I have no clue what's to the left, so maybe there's a giant high tension power line screwing up that whole suggestion. |

Last Lightby lynnesiteComment: The cloud cover has a little bit too strong of a presence for me, and I'd prefer if the colors were a bit more vibrant. |

Evening on the road homeby bob350Comment: This looks really similar to where I live (Colorado). These shots are really neat, but insanely difficult to keep your foreground illuminated without totally blowing out the skies. You did a good job keeping your clouds from getting blown out, but I would prefer if the foreground had a bit more of an adjustment from curves. |

The Mistby sir_bazzComment: I've always been a fan of longer exposures on the seaside. I like the rocks you've chosen here, but for some reason the whole shot seems a bit cramped. When I think of sunrises/sunsets, an image of a wide swath of land or sea is generally what comes to mind. Still very nice. |
