This is a shot that comes off as surrealistic. I really like it. Some may see it as overprocessed, but I love this look. Reminds me of vacationing with my dad, and when photos that you haven't taken yourself strike a memory, the original photographer has done a great job. Nice shot...

Good lines and composition. The pose is very natural too. The background is a tad distracting though, and the lighting on his face is alittle harsh (While I like this effect, the technical junkies may dock you for it). All in all, this photo has alot of potential. I would love to see this shot with the background blacked out or darkened after the challenge. Lastly, going back to the harsh lighting on the face, I wanted to mention that I like it because it draws the viewers attention right to the subject. Just my two cents, overall I think its a good shot...

While the shot definitely appears interesting, its so small its hard to judge. I realize that DPC restricts size, so that makes shots like this difficult. Okay, from what I can tell, the sky looks really cool, very ambiguous, and I like that. The exposure and lightings appears to be well done. I think the photo has good symmetry and composition as well. Lastly, I'm not going to vote this image down because of size, but allot of other voters might, especially the speed voters.

My first impression of this was that I like the tilt and pose. My only gripe is the contrast on the skin is not very flattering. Exposure and lighting are nice. Subject is good and sharp too... Overall I find it to be an interesting shot
