Well.. 4.7.. could have been worse I guess.

Yah, I shoehorned this in.. but I thought *maybe* the fact that it's really a great action photo would help.. and I think it probably did.. but not a lot.

Like all my ..'s?

I like them.. why, my mother once said..

but I digress.

I lead the category for the 18-55mm kit lens for the *ist Ds now.. muwahahahahha.. (but I think, only because samtrundle hasn't bothered to add lenses to his account yet.)

A truly great photojournalistic like shot.. I'd expect to see this in "Life" magazine! I do think I recognize the child in question too... Thommo.. did you shoot this? :)

This is a great use of a border. Not only does it bring the focus on the player being congratulated (which is what seems to be happening), but it helps the shot from feeling too cluttered.

She does look sad. Not sure about the veil.. it takes away from the emotion in the eyes for me.

To me, remembering isn't a mood in itself.. a little weak on the challenge. Also, I think this is a little too over-saturated

Too many clashing colors here, and the model is too close to the wall, the shadows being far too strong. You needed one or two more light sources for this to be effective, and a different POV... the way it's set up right now looks hurried and snap-shottish.

A good candid capture, but the photo seems a little over-smooth to me.

Nice high key effect here, the darkness of her hair making a great contrast. The wisp of hair being blown over the face is a great touch.

He named his boo-boo "Bobo"? Strange ;)
Focus seems off, and I'm not too sure about the B&W treatment for this shot..

Oh sure, tease me with the title, and then show me his *face*..

More light needed in the eye that is the focal point.
