Sunset at Castle Hill by BobsterLobsterComment: Personally, I don't really like this shot as much as many others in the challenge, but I guess majority doesn't lie. Congratulations on the win. Message edited by author 2004-10-08 00:12:59. |

Captivatedby sherComment: You know how I feel about this photo. I think you deserved a top 3.. and a top 5 in the VERY least.
Absolutely robbed, and I'm kind of ticked off about it too. :)
However it came out though, you can't take away that this is one of the better photographs to ever hit DPC Sher.. It's timeless and classic. |

Split Bout....the inner struggleby graphicfunkComment: Unbelievable creativity and originality in setting this up.. How'd you come up with the technique/idea? Did you read of it somewhere.. see it somewhere? Come up with it completely independantly? However, it's great. |

Inner Rhythmby BradComment: I'm writing this rather late, but I wanted to let you know that I thought that this should *easily* have been in the top 10.. in a perfect world :) However, I know as well as anyone how a person can get crucified for trying to be different.
I loved this photo however, and still do. It's got a great mood, and the grainy look was perfect.
Power to the people not afraid to try! :) |

Quest for Ritalinby ArtysteComment: Thank you to everyone that took the time to comment on my entry. Many of you kind of gave me a bit of validation for my first real attempt at studio work, and that's always great :)
I also really like my title, for that one person that suggested I needed a new one. It's a social commentary on the state of our children today and what they are being fed to start their mornings (in many cases), and the title is there to reflect the band-aid method we use to control what we've caused. Feed them sugar, then dope them up when it starts to effect them.
Social commentary, however, generally isn't the best thing on DPC.. but when a person has and idea...
Anyway, thanks again everyone. 32nd place is definitely nothing to sniff at :) |

Curves n' Linesby dinnComment: This shot really draws you right up into that tower of galls. It's unfortunate that the overhang in there on the left hand side. I'm thinking that without it, the shot would have looked a lot like a giant eye looking down on you. It still does, in a way, but then *bang*, you see that dark area. 8 |
