my favorite of the challenge, and only 10. Such a great capture, wonderfully lit, and I *love* the upper negative space. The composition is a classic use of triangle, and almost leads me in an X from the bottom of the violin through to the face, down the arm to the hand, and right back up the bow.

It also helps that the girl has such a .. haunting.. look.

The lighting in this shot is very harsh to me, blowing out the background and the colors in the stuffed pumpkin. The crop is confusing. I'd think the puppy would be a focal point, but it seems to be just an after-thought here, causing your viewer to focus on the toy.
