1872 Cannonby npageComment: Seems fuzzy for some reason, possibly just the sheer brightness of the sky is causing problems for the camera. |

H.M.S. Victoryby pnichollsComment: Looks more like an collision between a clipper, a coal barge and some pyjamas to me, Victory looks alot different to this. This ship looks quite cute, maybe some humorous touches would help. The towel sea was worth a try, but I think it cheapens it, a proper stand would look better. There are compression effects, particularly on the strings. The light is good, but overexposes the flags a bit, maybe softening it a bit would help. |

1896by arnitComment: Turf roofs? Must be Iceland, must be Arni. This may become this weeks winner, but I think you've sold out this week. Please get back to giving your adoring public a masterclass in use of DOF and negative space. |

Valentines Dayby rll07Comment: Unfortunatly, many modern documents are done in the same olde worlde florid style, so the subject doesnt actually look old. Not sure I like the cropping either. Try upping the contrast, and see if that improoves things. |

Old Gloryby RemieComment: You have done well to spot that the colours and textures here have potential, but I dont think you have captured them as well as you could have. |

Window of the pastby snoopyComment: The picture looks unbalanced because you have cropped more off the bottom of the frame than the top. You should also bash the weeds back so they dont intrude into the picture. |

tanner's tombby ibewillComment: Need to take just a little more care about standing absolutly on the centre line for formal subjects like this, you are about 30cm to the left. Nicely framed, good clarity. |
