Lovely. Feels too low in frame. Need just a little more grass at the front.

Nice shot, what, no smoke from the barrel? I try to not fight the black and white stuff too much anymore, but even though this turned out better than most, I still think I would like this in living color. The far wheel top nearly disappears, plus the greens, browns, blacks and greys would have looked really nice. O.K. off my high horse....8 Swash

Good subject. Would have used more aperture to get shallower depth of field to more isolate the cannon from the scenery.

excellent composition here :) I think this image can be made to look even older by pumping up the contrast some more :) good shot... - jmsetzler

I don't think decreasing the saturation helped much here. The composition follows the rule of thirds well, but isn't stunning. I guess the cannon has nowhere to shoot except straigh off the edge of the picture -- you should have given it a little room on the right

I don't know where you shot this but if you could find either a bigger cannon or one with smaller tires would look better to me. (7)

Seems fuzzy for some reason, possibly just the sheer brightness of the sky is causing problems for the camera.

Perfect subject for this challenge. I'm not sure if it's slightly blured or if I'm just getting old. - great shot

Black & white is well used

the white sky might need cropped. works in B&W though

Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject.
Composition - quite good
Technical Aspects - quite good
Meets Challenge - yes
Visual Impact / Originality - good

I think this would have been better in color -- could have seen how "aged" it really looks.

Looks like the wheels are covered in bird droppings, otherwise nice old cannon pix.
