Steps of the faithfulby Antart101Comment: The bit at the top needs to go. Focus goes a bit soft at the bottom. I'd prefer to have the footprints as an interesting foreground to the church that (presumably) is the destination. |

Gridlock'dby arnitComment: How cool it would have been to get the lights to be in her eyes. The railings are a problem, but then theres not much you can do about that. |

slight of handby snsComment: Perhaps if you had some sort of motion trace it would make it look a bit more like the hand had moved and turned the coin into a card. |

illusion?by jkiolbasaComment: Brilliant statement, and a great way to say it too. I'd have framed it lower, with the text on the lower door, then youd have the words framed a bit better. |

A Tall Tailby magnetic9999Comment: Great fun, great expression on the model. My missus always looks dead miserable when I want her to pose. The focus is a bit to sharp on the fish, and the light on the lady a bit too hot on the left of the picture. |

tomato flowerby Wheeler1992Comment: Good idea, but the photography needs work. You could have done few more tomatoes, and done a good flower shot in a vase, or on the grass, rather than in this rather ugly bush. |

Friend or Foeby jab119Comment: I had a look at doing camoflage and deception in spiders this week, but a frost has sent all the wolf spiders to bed for the year. When photographing things like this you need: A tripod, a bright windless day, reflectors and a shade. Set up the tripod, camera in macro mode a few centimeters from the subject. Set up as small an aperture as possible (I go down to about 1/8 sec if I can get away with it, 1/60 sec if theres a breeze). Shade the spider, as they are very hairy and direct light causes the hairs to show up as bright white. Use the reflectors to get a bit of light onto it. Try not to disturb it, as it'll run away into a corner and take a while to come out again. |

16 or 6 Crayonsby SwashbucklerComment: Took me ages to spot. Im not sure the denument was worth all that staring. I really didnt get any sense of unease that a good illusion should have. Perhaps bunching the real crayons in the center, or having some other clue would have helped. |

Lady in white... my magic shut!by RichiComment: This needs an element of hyper-reality to really get it going. Need to get the photo really sharp (use a smaller aperture) and sweep up the salt from places it shouldnt be. Perhaps some artful skatering as if hitting an object too. |
