Just for youby eransh10Comment: Intimacy? How does this meet the challenge. Nice use of color. The flower could use a little more depth of field, but you have nicely limited the background. |

Intercultural Loveby boyd2000Comment: interspecies love => interspecies intimacy, most likely in front a large and appreciative audience. Beautifully framed and razor sharp stop action. |

Mom's Embraceby timfythetooComment: Love personified... what is more intimate that mother and child. Love the low key lighting... There looks to be a sharping edge along the child's face, the mother's wrist and elbow. |

Kiss of Morning Light on Water by RamblinRComment: Absolutely beautiful shot. I am not sure about the relationship to the challenge. The bright spot in the sky is blown out. You might try a graduated neutral density filter to control the dynamic range. |

Connectionby cloudsmeComment: Interesting. Beautiful body and they are close, but, in my not so humble opinion, their expressions hardly say intimacy. Seem to be leering at one another. Technically, well done. Hard to go wrong with the lady. |

the intimacy of forgivenby gastonComment: Interesting shot, but I don't get it. It actually seems to me there is considerable physical separation between the show and audience. Perhaps it is a emotional intimacy.
I am not sure about the framing. The crucifix on the left is falling off the canvas. A few of the reflections on the hajibs are blown out. |

Mothers Loveby EyesupComment: Perfectly matches the challenge subject. The shot is a little blown out in the right shoulder. |

What We Feel, is More Important than What They Sayby dsmilComment: I like this shot but I find it lacking some of the emotion you suggest in your title. What are the models looking at or, more to the point, what should we imagine they are looking at or thinking of.
For my taste, the shot seems like it could use a little more saturation to richen up the skin tone. Absolutely beautiful bodies, but the moles on the back of the right hand lady adds a bit of reality that is perfect. The jewelery carries through on the gray from the low saturation.
If the models are really the "We", they are fortunate ladies. |

Hello!by amandakComment: drop dead gorgeous of a drop dead gorgeous lady. Superb work. I, like others here, would have given it a Spinal Tap 11...
Oh, BTW... I'd love to know something about the lighting set-up. Message edited by author 2008-03-23 22:02:42. |
