Totally sucks about the DQ. I don't think it's fair, but...

No stars, planets or moon. To me this was DNMC but I think I was the only one who thought so (apart from the three 1 votes). It's a beautiful image of a lightening strike but not a night sky capture as was expected and described.

Lovely colours. The lighting is harsh and not too flattering for these beautiful buds. Having it centered like that didn't help in the interest department either. Sorry if I seem harsh but I see so many flower shots here, i'm not suggesting it's a bad thing, that I guess I'm getting more critical when commenting about the images.
