Camera on the floor, manual focus, remote control.

It was quite a while that I wanted to take a photo like this, as a way to come to terms with the horrors that we read everyday in the newspapers, everyday something more horrible than the day before, something more irreparable, more unforgivable, as if a human life is worthless, as if what is left behind is just a thing to get rid of.

When people are asking if it is a suicide, I wonder how many people actually commit suicide with a butcher knife???

I would have liked to have seen some blood on the handle, and perhaps a hand smear with blood on the wall, with a more splashed effect that would be caused by a slashing death... the smear from where the victim grabbed at his own wound before falling...

I love the perspective and it was the first pic upon reviewing the results that looked like an actual crime scene to me.

Great focal point here and a good example of when b&w can be most effective.

I like this photo a lot. I wonder if it would work better with a shallow depth of field with just the knife in focus.

Great perspective and composition. I think black and white works really well for most of the scene, but maybe not the 'blood'? And the tip of the blade may not be quite in focus which draws my eyes to the handle, which I don't think is the aim. Still an eight

I wonder if this would of worked better with the focus on the knife rather than the victim? Still, I do like this shot.

Too much blood on the knife. Any liquid would not stay on a knife like that unless it's molasses lol. Gruesome shot though, I like.

Interesting concept though I would have enjoyed the blade to have the focus than the rest. Though to me this appears more to be suicide than a crime scene.

Intense! I like the way you did it in black and white, gives it a moody feel.
