ICUby AlainComment: Striking portrait indeed. Sensitively processed and well composed (if a little too far left). Don't like your title though, which is too flippant for your high quality photo. |

Storm is comingby AranchaComment: Beautiful light and scene. I do think that the editing has spoiled this a little though - and I also think that, apart from the observation, it's difficult to see what you have delivered here that someone else with the same camera couldn't. I'd like to have seen more of a focal point or some foreground interest which would lift this out of the ordinary. |

LeFayeby rblantonComment: Nice textures and a beautiful wisteria. Comp is good if a little busy. |

Summer Rainby PhilosComment: I like your composition here, but the colours and contrast don't quite do it for me. I think a tighter crop just below the logo on the umbrella would be more powerful though.
Her expression is lovely but I'll be honest, I don't really know what this is supposed to do for me. It's a nice portrait of a girl but I don't really connect with her and I find myself viewing this more as a piece of stock art rather than a human study. If she was looking downwards I would feel more like an observer which, for me, I would prefer. I'm also not convinced by the 'rain' which does look quite isolated to the left.
It is however, a well taken shot bya proficient photographer. |

Masterby wardsworldComment: So my question is - how would this have done without the added blur? Not in the spirit of the site in my view, since I feel that this is the key element of your shot (see the comments). |

Facadeby TranquilComment: Like this a lot. Very intersting how one's attention is diverted to the details. |

Rockby ecko313cheerComment: I hate to sound negative, but I don't feel that you've brought much to this shot apart from shooting what's in front of you. Anyone standing here could produce the same photo. You need to try a viewpoint that enhances your subject. Getting much closer, and using the sunlight to show more definitiuon (by moving around the rock) would help. A low viewpoint may add drama to the rock's size, etc. This background is way too busy and holds little interest for the viewer. |
