Alone with my thoughts...by samtrundleComment: Great portrait indeed. I'd have preferred a tighter crop on the right and left - still off-centre though. An incredibly natural expression and an excellent, pro quality photo. |

Innocenceby conglettComment: Lovely shot technically, but you're too far away. The background is not very helpful so you may as well go full frame. She's got lovely eyes and it's a shame not to see them more clearly. |

Childhood Memoriesby BradComment: Nicely toned candid. I'd have dropped the view slightly lower and waited until the person at the back had moved. There's some dilineation going on in the background that I can't work out but it doesn't matter much. |

Locked solidby e301Comment: What a satisfying image - never seen it before. Such tangible textures. |

Rainby MAKComment: Lovely model, but (and you'll hear loads of this no doubt) your image has been over effected by (probably) NeatImage or a clean-up filter. I'll ignore it now because that will have anihilated your score - but your composition is good the lighting is soft and defined, so all round a good photo.
Ultimately though this doesn't touch me emotionally, and I'm not certain what the photo is intended to do. There's not enough context to know about this lady and her expression does look a little forced, so your presence is very apparent. I'm not a major fan of the Librodo-style close-up, mainly because it tells so little about the person.
While eyes can be a 'window to the soul' they can seldom do the job unless the feelings conveyed are genuine. Authenticity is difficult to come by in this style of portrait. and the real masters of this technique are often photojournalists. |

Breeze by PhilosComment: As ever, the direct look into the camera is powerful, but I don't know much about this girl from the photo. Yes, she's lovely to look at, but I get no emotion for the shot. Of course the composition is technically sound but I feel that I would gain more from viewing her candidly, going about her business, unaware of the intrusion into her world.
On a technical point (apart from your obvious ability) the shot is way over sharpened or NeatImaged (it's very noisy around the eyebrows) but I love the colour. Not sure about the title. |

Knowledgeby TranquilComment: Good viewpoint and subject. Crop on left is a touch awkward. |

No Way Outby babylonComment: Nice, but not enough fill light on face to get the emotional aspect very well. To be honest, I don't feel much about this as it is so clearly staged and 'stock photo' like - so I don't connect with it on an emotional level. I do like that wall though. |

The Human Raceby JPRComment: Nice little capture. Halos around the kids are quite prominent though (shadow/highlight?). |
