Points of Light by visionistComment: Should have ribboned. That 4th is indeed a robbery without mentioning colours - bet you're feeling a bit blue! |

The Millby gullComment: I think you're actually very lucky to be blue, as I'm sure you realise too. This is a relatively average, over exposed shot made 'better' by some fairly clumsy processing. Sorry, but this is the kind of editing becoming prevalent here at DPC and it's not a good thing.
The centred composition doesn't do it for me, although the foreground has interest and you have a strong viewpoint too. The subject is OK, but your horizon line slices dead centre too which kills much of what drama may have been available. I would have included much more cobblestones and less of that undramatic, overcast sky, creating some stronger leading lines. |

fuoco e fumoby tateComment: Love the blend of life and death of the flame here. Good comp if a little overexposed. |

Tough Actin' My Ass!by narcdawgComment: It's always bottoms with you Americans!
Anyway, you need some Dr Scholl on those and some strong antiperspirant. Compositionally it's adequate, but lacks strength - it's all a bit, well, just there in front of you. Just putting one foot in front of the other (excuse the pun) would have helped make the shot more dynamic. Good flames and exposure. |

"Z"by graphicfunkComment: I know this is a cool capture - and the fire itself is delicious - but I find the back-/foreground elements very distracting. They don't seem to assist the shot in any way. The tree trunk behind him also looks a bit like an isolated rain shower! |
