Like the design in this shot. Perhaps too little detail to hold interest though. Nice concept.

I like the feel of this shot. Good colours and composition. I'd like to have seen a version with the waves in focus - which may not have been as interesting.

Very atmospheric - looks almost like a painting or 3D rendering. Good composition, although image is a bit too effected/noisy.

Great IR shot Kosta - should have ribboned. Interesting subject and well composed, although it is slightly too skewed clockwise.

This is just slightly too skewed anti-clockwise. A great shot and idea. Superb. 8

Great shot - although isn't this outside the dates for the challenge? Very nice light and composition. [8]

Thanks to all for the comments on this. I would however like to hear from anyone who voted it 1. Was it challenge brief, image quality, composition or did you think it was staged? It would be very interesting to hear why.

I think you got lots of 1s because this image is perceived as gimmicky through the use of negative (it's never popular). It doesn't mean a lot particularly and the image is almost totally reliant on the effect rather than the subject. It's a good composition though.

Didn;t get to comment on this during the challenge. A lovely shot and quite clever. I think the subject would have been better placed turned away from the camera, although not a 180, more a 125 degree turn. Good, clean image - could have used a touch more contrast/levels.
