Image critique: simply stunning. A great take on the challenge and absolutely bang-on. Hope it wins a ribbon. These clouds are wonderfult o behold and you've chosen the composition well. Good light, texture and detail. |

Lines Everywhere! by Mary Ann MeltonComment: Strength of challenge link: strong
Image: there are lots of real lines here too but the implied lines are also very strong in the mountain ridges, crests and peaks. I love this shot as a standalone image. It's a stunning scene which begs the wquestion: would it look good shot by most people, much the same as the Grand Canyon? I actually think you've chosen a great view with some nice foreground so I suspect that this is out of the ordinary. : )
It's deep, fantastically detailed, rich in interest and quite mesmerising. Excellent. : ) |

LAby KylieComment: Great use of the inverse - always works well when it presents the image in a way that makes one question what they're looking at is the actual scene or not. Very dynamic image Kylie. |

Untangledby eggvComment: A supreme concept and nicely shot too. It takes a couple of seconds to grasp but it's worth the wait! I tip for this for victory, but if for some freakish reason this isn't scoring highly then you have my deep sympathy. A 10 and a fave from me. |

Crossing.jpgby bpickardComment: This is a very nicely lit shot - well composed too. If the footprints weren't there it could pass for the Colorado river or something due to the absence of scale. |

... in poor taste ...by basia03Comment: Yes, this person is indeed impoverished! In fact I'd say destitute, bereft and utterly devoid of any hope whatsoever. Death is too good.
