Nice use of the human form. Love the lines of the hair. Use of light was used well to bring the implied lines into view. 7

Took me a moment to work out what this was. Very nicely done indeed.

Very creative shot, although I don't see this as implied lines... There's nothing for my mind to "fill in" as the hair makes real lines. I'd like to see the lighting emphasize the foreground hair a bit more to make the background more left to the imagination. Also might be nice to have the left of the frame cropped tighter, but it may have been difficult to fan the hair out that far to compensate. Great work!

A supreme concept and nicely shot too. It takes a couple of seconds to grasp but it's worth the wait! I tip for this for victory, but if for some freakish reason this isn't scoring highly then you have my deep sympathy. A 10 and a fave from me.

Now, this is a lovely image very well lit and very well composed and the mark I give it is based solely on the quality. However, the lines here are literal and not at all implied. One can argue that the hair strands break up the shape of the breast, but while this is true, the effect is more of a mask rather than implied lines. 5

Maybe a bit more centered showing more lines and subject would have made me a bit more happy with this shot.

These actually are lines, aren't they?
10/25/2004 12:12:06 AM
!!! I would move the camera to the right, make the breast the center of the shot, figuratively speaking. Also there is some digital noise or JPEG artifacs that need to be cleaned up. Therefore 8.
