Steam Locomotive 1089by NodeComment: Challenge link: OK, but this is really quite hi-tech in my view
Image critique: nice focus, composition - but editing marks visible in sky area and highlights are blown
Out-of-challenge appeal: minimal, but it's a nice train |

Air Driedby soupComment: Challenge link: perfect
Image critique: rich colour, deep tones, great DOF and composition - it's flawless and very possibly a well deserved winner
Out-of-challenge appeal: very nice - I'll be back! |

Can Be Seen From Everywhere..Just Not Like This by spydrComment: Challenge link: strong - good focal point
Image critique: intriguing vibe, great lighting and strong, moody scene. Composition is good although a bit less road and more dramatic sky would be better. Title is horrid - too wordy and descriptive - sorry!
Out-of-challenge appeal: yup - I like it, so I'll be back... |

Old Western Authority by DiscraftComment: Very graphical - nice approach and, although it's processed, it is done sensitively and appropriately to great effect. |

Cat Scan by BradComment: Well, if - like you say - it's a stuffed animal as opposed to a cuddly toy then you're actually quite a sicko. : )
Excellent gag by Clubjuggle too! :D
Reminds me of when I went my snowboarding acouple of years back and my dear old cat became gravely sick. I came back to a £950 vet bill!! More than twice the cost of my trip (excluding beer). The poor old fella died in my arms that weekend too. :( |

Has She Turned Her Back To Us?by BikeRacerComment: A portrait orinetation would have lent more power to the composition, since it currently displays too much unimportant, inactive space/foreground. Good definition from angle of light. |

The King of His Domain by LegatoMuzicComment: If only he were in the wild, he truly would be king. I s'pose the real king of his domain is the zookeeper.
A brilliant shot, very suggestive of the reality he should experience. |
